Was really glad to be invited by river island for a shopping experience at their store in ION orchard last friday and at the same time to view their latest autumn collection 😉
Mixing and matching are the key elements for this autumn, together with accessories to offer a modern and unqiue look.
I managed to try out a total of 3 different outfits.
The first outfit is more towards to korean and japanese style as they tend to have more layering. I started off with the white tee with blue strip and initially wanted to get a beige color chinos but decided to try something different, so i took the dark red chinos instead. To complete the look i added on a draped cardigan. I know lots of guys out there gets kinda turn off or doesn’t really know how to match the draped cardigan as they have this thinking that its only for the ladies. You are SO WRONG! nvm, i will talk more about this in another blog post.
The second outfit, i decided to go for shirt and i took this roll sleeve shirt in pink and match it with a beige jogger trouser. Actually this shirt is very easy to match, it goes well with beige, black and blue so PINK isn’t really a hard to match color 🙂
I loved the details on the jogger trouser! with the elastic cuff legs, i somehow find my legs seems to look skinnier~! muahahaha~
The third outfit, with the recommendation from the staff, i tried on something which i usually won’t go for and surprisingly, it’s not that bad afterall~
i really loved shopping over at River Island as the staff over there are very friendly and they are able to provide you tips on how to mix and match your outfits 😉 So you don’t really have to worry getting the wrong outfit or matching it the wrong way 😀
You can also visit their website for the latest arrivals they have and get inspiration and updates on the latest fashion trends. Oh! and there will be new arrivals in store twice a week on every Tuesday and Friday! 😀 So be sure to visit the store on these 2 days for the new arrivals! 😀
Alright i’m very happy now as i’ve new clothes to wear for my japan trip tmr! ;D woohoo~ and thanks to river island for sponsoring these outfits.
