“White Flower” is the name bestowed by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Ratchasuda Royal and at White Flower Factory Restaurant, they served food ranging from bakery to desserts, as well as a variety of unique drinks which is very well loved by both the locals and tourists. On our previous trip to Bangkok, we managed to visit the outlet at Siam Square One.
Just like the name of the restaurant, a small pot of white flowers can be found on every table.
Located on the 4th level of Siam Square One, White Flower Factory can be easily spotted with it’s unique modern industrial deco where all hipster will be attracted to. 🙂 Other than serving authentic local thai food, western menu can be found as well. In order to try the various selection of food from both menus, here’s what we ordered for dinner.
From the western menu, we ordered the Sweet Potato Gnocci and Salmon in creamy sauce (225 baht), a White Flower Signature dish. Interestingly, instead of normal pasta, the sweet potato Gnocci taste pretty good 🙂
From the thai menu, we ordered a plate of Pad Broccoli Kung (165 baht), basically stir fried broccoli and shrimp, but we requested to replace our shrimp with chicken instead 🙂
We also ordered a plate of Moo Yang (165 baht), Grilled Pork, though not a signature dish at White Flower Factory, but a well loved dish in Bangkok. A must to have whenever we visit Bangkok.
The restaurant was quite crowded during our visit for dinner and you might need to wait awhile before you can get a seat there.
Partially also due to the crowd as it’s quite a nice place for gathering where everyone enjoy good food and drinks with the right company. Eating in Bangkok is really cheap, this meal only cost us 555 baht which is approx. SGD22.20 only, for two!
