During our stay at Montigo Resort, we managed to book an one hour massage session at The Montigo Spa before we bid goodbye and head back to Singapore. Surprisingly, it’s good and we enjoyed our session there!
The Montigo Spa is houses in these Sumatran huts with rich authenticity that was preserved for over a century. We’re welcomed by the friendly staff with a glass of refreshing and soothing lemongrass juice and icy cold towel to cool ourselves down as we did some simple updates of our particulars, as well as picking on the type or aroma oil we would like to have.
Most of the Montigo Spa’s restorative treatments are formulated without chemicals on premise, under the supervision of Spa Manager and herb specialist, Warsiyah. There’s also a steam bath and plunge pools, perfect for you to lounge, wade or simply cool off in it.
As the spa is acquired exclusively for the resort, this rustic cluster adjoins its own stretch of beach as as we are enjoying our massage in the hut, the natural wave sounds splashing onto the beach helps to calm and relax our body and mind.
After a good massage, we are directed to the spa’s library and reading where hot flower tea was served for our revived body stimulate our mind
