Lunch at Crystal Jade Hong Kong Cafe yesterday as we’re unsure of what to have for lunch. So we walked around liang seah street, looking for something that may appeal to us and we found this hong kong cafe by crystal jade. The images of the food tempted us to give it a try 🙂
I ordered the Pork Ribs Rice under the special lunch set meal, which comes with a cup of chinese tea at a cost of $6.80++ per set.
Overall, i don’t really like the rice as its kinda overcooked, (nua nua u know?!) haha.. but the pork ribs are delicious! it’s crispy and tender 🙂
diana ordered the Goose Meat Salad… Looks quite a big portion for it’s price… $4.50. But a reminder to pple who do not like wasabi as wasabi was used as the salad dressing. Maybe i would suggest them to include this in the menu.. it would be a waste if the customers ordered the salad without knowing that wasabi was used as the salad dressing if they do not like it.
Kiki ordered this Macaroni with Luncheon Meat. Should have ordered this as the pork ribs rice didn’t manage to satisfy my tummy. The soup was tasty but abit salty.
a total of $20 damage for lunch and a complimentary dessert voucher was given for our next visit. Most probably i would revisit them again for the steamboat buffet ba.. 🙂
