Finally! i know you guys are waiting for my bali trip entry right?! I think this time round i very fast liao~ So here i’m presenting you

DAY 1 of my BBFs Bali Trip with Holiday Inn Baruna Bali !

Ok just in case you are wondering how i get this bali trip, i was invited for a one night stay at the Holiday Inn Orchard City Centre last year and at the same time to promote on the STAY TOGETHER photo competition holiday inn was having. AND SO~~ we (together with my bbfs) decided to take part in the photo competition as well and never did we expect that we actually managed to win the GRAND prize, 4 days 3 night stay in Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali!! Accomodation and air tickets all inclusive, with USD1200 spending cash ok~!

AWESOME RIGHT?! cos i’m a AWESOME blogger too~ 😛 (okok i know i’m very buay hiao bye aka thick skin) LOL!

OK! so we’ve decided to visit bali in April this year!

sings : “i wanna be a millionaire … so freaking bad~~~” haha and YES! i’m one in BALI! lol~ 😀

14th April 2011, Thursday, 6am…

mum accompanied me to the airport as she say dun waste the taxi fare lol~ and we reached there rather early. I KNEW it that my friends will be late haha~ and true enough, they are.

But i forgive them as joey and rachel made something sweet for us 😉

strawberries coated with chocolate!!! NICE~~~ i like~ though it looked a little messy but seriously, WHO CARES?! 😛

after everyone arrived, checked in our luggages, we went for breakfast at the staff canteen ! *cheaper food here 😛*

Food onboard~! Cheese omelet with chicken sausages for breakfast 😉

and after 2.5 hours later… We arrived at Denpasar International Airport! wee~~~

long long queue to get out~~~ but ok la~ waiting time not very long.. ard 10 mins 🙂

Was welcomed by the friendly holiday inn staff at the arrival hall.. we felt like some superstar/vip you know~ hahaha 😀

and off we go with the airport transfer provided by holiday inn~ 😀 comfy car to be in!

and here we arrived at Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali~!!! WOOHOO~~~

received a extremely warm welcome by the staff over there!! just like the sunny weather over there when we reached the resort! LOVED IT ~ ;D

the magnificent sea view from the resort~ it just brighten up my day 😀

no need to worry if you forgot to bring ur iphone charger~! 😀 and i can play my favourite music to sleep at night ;D awesome!!

after settling down and resting in the room for awhile, we can’t wait to explore around bali~! and it’s also time for us to look for food too~~~ we are all extremely hungry ok!

Alright~ we’re ready to go! we staff was really nice to recommend us on places we can go to nearby and offered us a trip there at 30,000 rupiah, which is like $4.50? cheaper than our local taxi ok~ haha. Since it’s our first time there, so it’s best to have someone to show us the way 🙂

lunch at DOMINO’s pizza~

Domino’s pizza taste not bad.. quite like it! 😀 especially the bbq chicken! but price wise, not very cheap.. but also not very expensive la. Just normal price lo~

After pizza, we walked ard the shops in the mall.. but we didn’t managed to buy much as the prices are rather the same as those in singapore. SO~ we went for some desserts at A&W!

and they taught me to eat it this way.. at first was good la.. but when the ice cream starts to melt, it doesn’t really taste that good already..

nothing much from the mall, so we decided to explore the streets along kuta 🙂 while walking our way back to the resort! since we know the way now ~

their convenience store over there. similar to our 7-11

they have this interesting transport over there. and the horses are really very obedient leh~ they know when to stop, when to move faster, not to keep too close to the cars and they stand really still and straight de lor..

the sun was setting down while we make our way back. stop over at the Circle K convenience store to grab some drinks, beers and tibits for the night! 😀

and the sunset was so magnificent that we couldn’t help but to keep on snapping and snapping.. 😛

and guess what i received when we’re back in the room?

a greeting card with fresh apples 😉 always loved the surprises they gave us 🙂

we rest for awhile in the room before heading out for our complimentary dinner at Palm’s restaurant!

really nice and cosy ambience 🙂 and one more thing that i really have to highlight on..

As the complimentary dinner was actually for 4 person, but they are so nice to provide all of us a complimentary dinner for the night! Very generous and my friends are all extremely happy about it!! THANKS HOLIDAY INN!!! 😀

Drinks! all the milkshake and fruit juices are really nice lo! i ordered the tropical blonde and i loved it so much that i ordered it everyday!

Caesar’s Salad with Chicken, Salmon & Prawns! soo nice!!!

Our main course… Grilled Prawns!! Extremely HUGE and juicy~! really very NICE! and it comes with a plate of plain rice to go with 🙂

Tom Yum Soup.. spicy enough 🙂

Nasi Goreng with prawns, chicken, crackers and egg!

can’t remember the name of this.. It’s actually one of the chef recommendation dishes in the menu. it’s oxtail if im not wrong…

We were too full to have individual dessert, so we ordered ONE instead to share~ hahaha~

Goreng Pisang with ice cream 🙂 nice!

It was really a wonderful dinner and we’re soo satisfied with the food 😀

OH! and how can we not find a place to chill after food for the night?

we went over to the ENVY bar, just beside the palms restaurant…

nice ambience as we relax ourselves on the rattan sofa and star gazing while enjoy a glass of cocktail 🙂

very thoughtful of them to provide mini torch light which can be clipped onto the menu for us to see in the dark!

and as a blogger like me, how can i resist from camwhoring right?!!! muahahahaha~~~

not forgetting my friends as well~~ 🙂
