It was raining extremely heavily on monday, therefore we’re stuck along the shop houses where out office is and decided to have our lunch at this arirang korean restaurant located along amoy street.
The restaurant was empty and we’re kinda suprised as we went during the lunch hour.. but since we’ve no other choices and seeing that they are having set lunch and price was quite reasonable, we decided to give it a try..
Just when we’re browsing through, looking for the lunch set meal menu, the waitress told us that lunch set menu is over. WTF?! finish liao? and the price we see on the menu are not cheap lor..
So in the end, we ordered a set meal for 4 which is priced at $60.. and 4 bowls of rice…
Food was surprisingly good! the bbq chicken, the soba fish, the tung hoon, korean pan cake, kimchi soup.. very nice!!! we’re wondering since the food taste good, but why there’s is any customers leh?
After we call for the bill, then we notice that the price went up to $70+, almost $80.. and after looking through the receipt, we’re notice that a bowl of rice actually cost us $3!!! a freaking small bowl of rice cost us $3!! wth~! and adding all the gst la, service charge la.. wahraoz~!!!extremely expensive lunch lor!
i think that is why there’s not much customers…
