Crystal Jade Korean Ginseng Chicken & BBQ restuarant celebrates its 10th anniversary at a new prime location with larger seating capacity and an expanded line up of authentic home-styled korean food!
Was happy to try out the new healthy and wholesome dishes that they offered. Especially the hearty Korean Imperial Hotpot with Assorted Vegetables ($39.00 per serving) that serves 2 to 4 pax. Definitely a must order if you are there with you friends 🙂
You can choose between beef, pork of chicken meat with the super tasty soup stock that has been made flavourful and naturally milky through hours of slow boiling over a few days. With generous serving of fresh vegetables, this is definitely a must have if you are looking for something healthy.
You may also choose to add on some Freshly Handmade Korean Noodles ($3 per serving) to add on to the flavourful soup too. These noodles are freshly made using eggs and high-grade Korean flour which gives you a fresh, springy texture 🙂 really nice!
As the restaurant’s name mentioned, the signature dish got to be the Authentic Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup ($28 per serving), a nourishing and aromatic treat with a WHOLE 4 year old ginseng root, fresh chicken, glutinous rice, red dates and gingko nuts.
The ginseng is able to help cool body temperature, boost energy levels and cleanse the body of toxins. Another must order too!
Another well-like dish is the Stewed Top Grade Beef Short Rib ($29.00 per serving), made by braising prime Australian beef ribs for several hours with an assortment of ingredients including soy sauce and garlic with fruit and vegetables.
BBQ lovers will love the selections over here at Crystal Jade. They offers 12 fresh and marinated meat dishes and two combination sets for BBQ. The most popular choice witll be the top-grade fresh meats such as Prime Wagyu Beef ($49.00 per serving), Ox Tounge ($25 per serving) and Pork Collar ($22 per serving) along with the Marinated Beef Short Rib ($28 per serving).
And how can we miss out on the side dishes, which is something very important in Korean cuisine! This set of 6 different types of Korean appetisers ($10 for 6 varieties per serving) changes daily. Alternatively, you can order them separately at $4 per serving.
Ending the meal with something sweet. Double-boiled Snow Pearl with “Chuan Bei” and Dried Longan ($5.00 per serving) is a simple home-styled dessert known as “baesuk” as a remedy for colds and cough. Here at Crystal jade, they serves the traditional Chinese vesrion using whole Snow Pears double-boiled with “chuan bei” which helps to treat dry coughs. You may choose to have it served hot or cold, after a spicy meal or a BBQ 🙂
