If you do remember this, i attended the grand opening of Overtime with a few of the bloggers in Decemeber last year and managed to took a pic with miss lin chi ling.. OK! if you don’t, you can go read it here!
This time round, they invited us back once again, not to try out the starker fresh beer, but for a food tasting session on their WIDE range of food !
Now, let me introduce some of those that we’ve ordered…
A spicy twist to an Asian classic – simmered pork, young mango, onion rings, minced fresh garlic, chili padi and fresh squeezed lime juice with Asian dressing.
*
VEGETABLE GARDEN – Purple cabbage, red kidney beans, cherry tomatoes, celery, Japanese cucumber, onion rings and iceberg lettuce served with thousand island or mayonnaise dressing (served on the side).
*
Homestyle prawn crackers – Slightly different from the typical version. Not completely crispy but mostly on the edges. The middle portion being slightly thicker and softer relatively can be quite chewy, served with Thai chili sauce accompanied by cucumber and fried beancurd.
*
Crispy Fish Fillet Red snapper batter dipped & fried to a golden brown.
*
Spring rolls – Traditional spring vegetables rolled in egg wrap then delicately fried to golden brown, served with chili sauce.
*
Thai Style Chicken wings – Rubbed with chili padi, lemon grass, ginger flower, kaffir lime leaves and deep-fried.
*
Chicken Satay (10 Nos) – Skewers of marinated chicken served with spicy peanut sauce, accompanied by red onions, cucumber and rice.
*
Crunchy Pork Rubbed with fresh spices, this roast is loaded with flavour and basted with pan juices.
*
Char-Grilled Chicken – Juicy and flavourful, char-grilled chicken thigh served with ‘acar’, pappadum’ and chef’s secret sauce.
*
Seafood Fried rice – Created by our own chef, a comibnation of prawn, squid, crab meat fried rice, egg and mixed vegetables. Bravura!
*
Grilled Chicken Chop – A juice, butter-grilled boneless chicken leg served over crispy French fries with black pepper or mushroom sauce and side salad.
*
Crispy Pork Knuckle – Pork Knuckle marinated in chef’s secret and deep fried until the skin is crisp.
*
