Artichoke is tucked away in the courtyard of Sculpture Square off Middle Road, a small little cafe and bar which is perfect for a chill-lax session with your friends over food and drinks (beer and alcoholic).
Quite sometime ago, Ally and I was looking for a place for dinner and we chose this as we’re somewhere area that area and it’s also one of the place that I would like to visit. Quite like the overall ambience of the place upon reaching the cafe and we decided to have the outdoor seats to enjoy the night breeze 😉
We’re kinda clueless on what to order and we started off with Beer and latte! lol~
So according to the menu, depending on the number of pax you have, here’s how you should order your food. As it’s only the two of us, it’s recommended for us to order 3 mezze + 2-3 shared plates + 1 serve of pita (2 pita bread, baked and delivered locally and daily)
we ordered Hummus (smashed chickpeas, tahini, and sunmac) and Smoked Anchovies (cherry tomatoes and seaweed caviar).
For our shared plates, we ordered the fried chicken and Maple Bacon Chop. Loved the fried chicken!
Food was average, probably it’s not really what I’m looking for and we both agreed that it’s alittle expensive too. We were both quite shock when we received the bill lol~ Looking at the brunch menu they have, it looks more promising and I would love to head back there again to try on their brunch menu.
