Singapore Blog Awards 2013
LEVI’S Best 501 Interpretation Blog Finalist
Alot of my friends are asking me if i actually booked a studio for my LEVI’S Best 501 Interpretation shoot but when i told them no, i took them myself at home, their jaw dropped. Abit kua zhang but you should see their facial expression lah~ hahaha! Yup, those photos you see are taken by me at home and in this entry, i will you showing you how i do it! 😀
First of all, thanks to omy.sg and LEVI’S for giving me this opportunity to explore and had so much fun with the wide range of items they have to provide!

Shopping was really an enjoyable experience instore as the staff are really friendly and they know WHEN to approach you whenever you seek for assistance. I hate it when i go shopping and that one particular staff will tag you along and follow you where ever you go to lor.

A must try, the latest 501 non-denim jeans in 3 brand new colors! 😀

And just in case you are not aware, LEVI’S do not only sell clothings, but they sell accessories ranging from shoes, to bags, wallets, belts and more! The shoes really caught my attention when i enter the store as it’s SOOO NICE LAH!

These 2 gotta be my FAVOURITE PAIRS!

Another thing i love about the LEVI’S store is their changing rooms. SOO SPACIOUS lah! and with the lighting and full length mirror, PERFECT for self camwhore shots! 😀 muahahaha~

ok ok enough of introducing the stores to you guys, you just need to walk into any LEVI’S store and experience it yourself lah~ hahaha~ OKAY! back to the main purpose of this post, BEHIND THE SCENES!
This is what i usually have to do before i do my shoot at home.
1) Setting up the camera! Mount it on a tripod and plug in my shutter control 🙂

2) Next, set up the lightings! Love my ringlight as it helps me to take awesome photos at home!

3) Setting up the backdrop!
As you see from those studio, they always have this HUGE roll of paper at the back which they will roll them down all the way to the floor to take nice photos and this helps to make cropping and masking of images much more easier. I don’t have that money nor space to have such items at home, sooo…. i uses MAHJONG PAPER! hahaha~

and dun be surprise that i can create the same effect as those you see taken in the studio!
5) Now after i’m done with the setup, it’s time to set up, i mean prepare myself for the shoot! First i will need to groom myself by shaving! i dun put on make ups, only some bb creams and concealer. 😛

6) Changed to my clothes before i do my hair!

DONE!

Now am ready to shoot!

and this is how the shots above was taken!

and if you are wondering how this shot below looks like before editing….

It looks like this…. HAHAHAHAHA~

Other than normal shots, i tried taking crazy shots like the one below which in the end i didn’t use hahaha~ but i find it quite funny to share with you guys.

For your info, all these are taken using self timer LOL! so you can imagine me the number of times i need to run to the camera and back to position before the shutter clicks 😀
So after all these hardwork that i’ve put in, i really hope that you guys enjoy reading my entries and appreciate the photos that ive taken 😛 It would be nice if you can head down to the website below and cast a vote for me? 😛 voting ends 23rd June 2013!

You should totally get a remote for your camera!
I got a wired remote as there’s no wireless remote for my camera
To help ease the task of a chef, a lot of companies
realize that they need to make a different appliances types.
Easy to use up, eat breakfast, do not try so hard, just to put food
to heat enough. with an input signal, letting you bake bread to a light chewy,
medium.
While both may be applied to combine or mix foods, you will find there’s big difference among the two devices.
With the meals blender it is possible to create your own personal tomato sauce, bloody marry drinks or pound your soups.
No need to take apart your food processor and wash the extra containers you used.
Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging on websites I stumbleupon on a daily basis.
It’s always interesting to read through content from other authors
and use something from their sites.
Right here is the right webpage for anybody who really wants to find out about
this topic. You know so much its almost tough to argue with you
(not that I personally will need to…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic that’s been written about for decades.
Wonderful stuff, just great!
