After my last day of work with my previous company, I decided to go for a short trip to refresh myself before i start work proper at my new work place. SO.. i supposed the best destination with good food, cheap buys and relaxing massage to be… BANGKOK!
Here’s what i packed for a short 4D3N trip to Bkk~!
Flying Cathay instead of budget airlines since it’s cheaper. $300 for the return tickets only! got it during their promo period.
Business class service.. wee wee~~
Meal on board…
Arrived! in the transfer to the hotel 😉
Here’s the newly opened hotel by Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit 22
Very nice hotel with nice view, rooms and facilities 🙂
Very inviting room isn’t it?
and the spacious toilet, would be perfect if there’s a bathtub in it
Brown seems excited too! 😀
Dinner was at this little restaurant along the road which sells northern thailand food and i must say that the food they served are pretty good 🙂 and it seems well-liked by both the locals and tourists too.
After dinner, we went party and… ya.. no photos as it’s all super unglam pics lah~
Rise and Shine the next day with breakfast from The Coffee Bean, located just right below the hotel, as we didn’t pay for the hotel breakfast.
Discipline is a must.. GYM even though im on holiday…
Visited the infamous 4-faced buddha to do some prayer before lunch.
This peking duck is soooooo YUMMY!
Went to this mall by the name of Terminal 21, where i’ve heard quite alot online, which is also quite near where we are staying for some desserts and to shop around. Not bad. basically the mall is divided into a few sections, ranging from men, ladies, accesories, food, and there’s even a gym and cinema there too!
Indulge with some ice creams! The Swensen’s ice cream is so much cheaper over there than in Singapore!
The next day morning, we visited the market beside chatuchak which sells lots of fruits, local snacks and food.
I find their durians kind of different to ours as the shapes are rounder.
the durian meat looks whiter, but taste quite nice.
I also took this opportunity to tailor made myself a suit 😉
Our last dinner in bangkok was at this italian restuarant, Popodoro.
This trip wasn’t really a shopping trip for me as i didn’t get much stuff.. looking at the weight of my luggage upon returning, you can tell that i really didn’t buy much. hahaha~ in the past, it would have easily exceeded 20 KG lor~ hahaha!
Just like what i’ve mentioned at the beginning, my main objective was to go on a relaxing trip which i did enjoyed myself. Goodbye Bangkok and i will be back again soon 🙂
