My second trip of the year and it’s really like a dream come true for me as i’ve been wanting and hoping to go for a trip to hong kong. I wanna go there 买东西吃东西,and most importantly to visit the Disneyland!!! it’s like i think the cheapest disneyland you can go to ba. Anyway, i shall talk more about disneyland when i post my entry about it .
So, this is a company trip, sponsored by my boss (THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!) and i was really very excited, happy and looking forward to the trip ! never thought that there will be a company trip for me as well hahaha~ 😀
Flying off on thursday morning 5th May, exactly 2 weeks after i’m back from my bali trip and it’s my first time flying off from terminal 3! wee~~
didn’t know that they provide free charging! different chargers/cables to cater your phone!
chill over a cup of coffee while waiting to board the plane
wonder when will i get a chance to go onboard the A380…
ready to take off~!
So comfortable flying on SQ! spacious leg room, in-flight entertainment and meals/drinks all included! here’s my breakfast onboard.
4hours 20mins passed real fast! finished 2 variety shows, nap for a while and tada~ here we arrived in HONG KONG!!! 😀
long long queue but the flow was fast. didn’t spent too much time over here 😉
collecting our luggage~
Purchasing the tickets for the Aiport Express to our hotel. You can purchase them at this counter when you exit from the luggage collection hall.
still look a little cui.. lolx~
very clean and spacious airport…
just before we boarded the train, we went up to the departure hall and bought our simcard for unlimited 3g internet usage on our iphone. It’s really cheap! it cost 99 for iphone 3gs and 199 for iphone 4, which includes 3 days unlimited usage of internet access on your phone (though i can still used it on the 4th day) and you can make local calls and sms as well! the name of the store is 3, yes number 3 and its on the right hand side of the departure hall.
special package price for 4 😉
we will be alighting at Kowloon 九龙
took the airport express shuttle bus service from Kowloon 九龙 station whereby they provide free hotel connections. Just inform them on where your hotel is or the name of your hotel and they will tell you which bus to take 😉
the infamous 红勘 indoor stadium where numerous artists held their concert at~ including S.H.E! hahaha~
Arrived at the hotel!
Very clean, bright and comfortable impression left on me 😉 GOOD! i like!
Internet kiosk ! I LIKE! and they are using MAC leh~ not bad not bad…
woo~ and guessed who’s blog appeared here! muahahaha~~~ ( i did a very short live blogging when i reached hong kong at this internet kiosk)
and here’s our room!
not bad right? overall i quite like the room… 😉
after putting down our luggage, we went out hunting for food as we’re all very hungry~~~!
parking fee for $25 per hour is kinda expensive~
after walking one round around our hotel, we decided to patronize this cafe which is just directly opp our hotel. (heard that their bo lo bun is very famous but we didn’t get to try it)
a color that we seldom see in singapore restaurant.
for $28… i get to have a cup of iced yuan yang…
egg, ham and bread with butter…
and my favourite rou ding gong zai mian!!! 😀 so cheap right? for $4.50SGD, you get to eat ALL these lo! I LOVE HONG KONG CHAR CHAN TING!
After late lunch, we went back to the hotel, rest for a while before setting off to The Peak!
Bought our hong kong ezlink card 😉
we took a train from Jordan station (where our hotel is located at) to Tsim Sha Tsui to catch the star ferry over to Central. (you can actually take the train that will bring u directly there, but we wanna have a special experience, therefore we decided to take the ferry)
Traffic light for… ermz… the human traffic…
look at the weather… 🙁
the ferry that i always see in hong kong movies and dramas!! now i can finally go on board the ferry!!! 😀
my boss and his wife 😉
freaking scary and strong waves that day…
arrived in central! their CBD area if im not wrong… ermz what is FOOTBRIDGE ah? lolx
Combo tickets for the tram up to the peak, Madame Tussauds and the Sky Terrance 😉
See how steep it is!!!! im really impressed by the person whom invented and build this. its like how they do it sia~!

Reached the Peak!
Oh! here we are at the Madame Tussauds wax museum! i’m so excited la~ i can finally meet all the SUPERSTARs!!! 😀
so many paparazzi snapping at us..
with jay chou which ermz.. dun really look like him leh~
ayumi.. dun look alike leh~~
that’s Madame Tussauds
lots of pictures right? see! i took almost every single wax figurine in the museum for you guys lo~
next we proceed up to the sky terrace for the night scenery…
it was kinda foggy that night, therefore didn’t really get to see the complete view. but it was still considered magnificent to me… another scene which i saw in movies and dramas! 😀
didn’t stay at the terrance for long as it was kinda crowded, so we went for dinner instead…
i like the goldfish!!!
not much variety to choose from, so we settled down at this restaurant for dinner, we’re all very hungry!!! Food served wasn’t very cheap as well~ but thanks to my boss for treating me this meal 😉 !
can u tell the difference between these 2? one is beef, one is pork… both looks exactly the same leh~
after dinner, we didn’t want to queue for the tram back down as the queue was quite horrible, freaking long! so we decided to take a cab down instead! wa i tell you ah~ the road is extremely curvy~ lots of bends, turns and frankly speaking, i was feeling kinda giddy on our way down lo~
took the train back from central this time round instead of the ferry… very similar to the train we have in singapore right?
the night scene of hongkong with lots of HUGE billboards~
we went back to the hotel to freshen up abit before heading out to the temple street. Nothing much over there actually. it’s very similar to the chinatown in KL, but! i managed to find this shop which sells damn cheap and nice tees!! bought four tees in total for not more than $50 SGD ! BEST buy for the day~
After shopping, time for supper! yes it was already like 11 plus?
we bought some food along the street ( notice that they do not have alot of street snacks like taiwan ) and grab some beer back to the hotel 😉
the fried pig intestine…
food was overall ok, just that they are all kinda salty…
and we bought some dessert back as well~ but not very nice leh~ 🙁
so we eat and drink in the room while discussing on our day 2 itinerary… and that marks the end of my Day 1 in hong kong~
