Located at the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, Hotel Koryu is conveniently located along the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko and is only a 5-minute drive from the Kawaguchiko Train Station. There’s also free transfer to/from Kawaguchi Station too. As our arrival time did not match the bus schedule, we purchase our bus ticket from the train station to the hotel.
Hotel Koryu provides both a spacious indoor public hot spring and an outdoor one which gives you a panoramic mountain and lake views as you unwind yourself in the hot spring. There is also hot spring bath that you can rent for your private use. Apart from the hot spring bath, you can also enjoy a steam sauna with herbal fragrance too.
There are two categories of rooms that you can choose from. The Japanese-style rooms and the Western rooms. We picked the Japanese-style room where we slept in traditional futon bedding on the tatami floor, with low furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows for a more unique experience. All rooms comes with an LCD TV, toiletries and yukata robes where you will need to change into when visiting the hot spring bath.
Free-use internet PCs and free WiFi are available at the hotel lobby. If you need any assistance, just proceed to the 24-hour front desk and they will be able to assist you. Hotel Koryu is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station on the Fujikyuko Line, a 10-minute drive from amusement park Fujikyu Highland and a 50-minute drive away to Mount Fuji
