After a pleasant evening arrival in Bangkok, we were greeted with utmost hospitality and provided with convenient transportation from Suvarnabhumi International Airport to the resort. The approximately two and a half hours ride was comfortable, setting the tone for our delightful stay.
The check-in process at the resort was swift, allowing us to settle in quickly and start our experience on a positive note. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink, which instantly rejuvenated us after the journey.
SO Comfy Room – A Nature-Inspired Retreat:
We were delighted to be assigned the SO Comfy room, a deluxe room with a picturesque garden view. The room exuded the splendor of Mother Nature, designed in the SO Nature Style. The extra high ceilings added a sense of spaciousness, enhancing our comfort throughout our stay.
The highlight of the room was the king bed from Sofitel MyBedTM, accompanied by a sleep menu that promised a restful night’s sleep.
The in-room amenities, including a modern rain shower system, the latest technology sound system, and an in-room private bar, coffee machine, and tea selection, added to the overall beach vacation ambiance. Additionally, the presence of Chromecast and Airplay allowed us to stay connected and entertained during our downtime.
Dining Experiences at White Oven and Beach Society:
Our culinary journey at SO Sofitel Hua Hin commenced with dinner at White Oven. This signature beach restaurant in Cha-Am offered a daily selection of freshly caught seafood, skillfully prepared by exceptional chefs. The comfortable air-conditioned seating and the scenic views of the restaurant created a perfect dining atmosphere.
The next day, we indulged in a delectable breakfast at White Oven before proceeding to explore the resort. For lunch, we savored traditional Thai dishes that satisfied our cravings for authentic cuisine.
Beach Society, the trendy restaurant and bar, impressed us with its Western-influenced culinary style, offering tasteful lunch and dinner selections. The open-air seating options, including beachside tables and private beach cabanas, added to the overall dining experience.
Spa Bliss and Wellness:
To enhance our beach holiday experience, we treated ourselves to a rejuvenating 60-minute Thai massage at the SO spa. This sanctuary of calm offered a range of facial, massage, and beauty treatments, allowing us to unwind and achieve pure bliss. We definitely left the spa feeling revitalized and pampered.
Activities and Exploration:
During our stay, we immersed ourselves in the captivating SO Explorer Programs. One of the highlights was a trip to Nayang Bay Cave, where we witnessed the mesmerizing evening sky-dance of nocturnal creatures. This unique experience, available at an affordable rate, included van transfers, park entrance fees, bar snacks, and a choice of beverages. The resort also provided binoculars to enhance our observation of this awe-inspiring phenomenon. Such activities added an extra layer of excitement and discovery to our stay at SO Sofitel Hua Hin.
