Privé at the Asian Civilisations Museum is one of the three café outlets here in Singapore, offering both indoor and outdoor all-day dining options with views of the Singapore River. During one of our visit to the museum on a Sunday afternoon, we’re surprise that it wasn’t as crowded as we expected it to be and we enjoy the ambience and food too.
Turquoise blue set the main colour of the whole interior of the café and some of the nostalgic items you can spot within includes wooden chairs, black ceiling fans, milk cans and milo tins to bring back the early days of Singapore.
Those with a sweet tooth will find it hard to resist with Prive’s extensive range of sweet treats and cakes. With the hot and sunny weather here in Singapore, it’s definitely a good choice to cool yourself in this cosy indoor space with a nostalgic feel, sip on a cold drink or coffee and enjoy a fresh bowl of salad or healthy sandwich. As the sun set, have a heart-to-heart conversation with your buddy at the alfresco deck while enjoying the breeze and waterfront views of the Singapore River.
