Hotel Review - Amari Watergate Bangkok

Bangkok is only a 2 hours flight away from Singapore and it is one of the all-time favourite destinations that every Singaporeans would head to for a short getaway because of the cheap airfares and accommodations. During our recent visit to Bangkok, we managed to spend a 2 nights stay with Amari Watergate Bangkok and we enjoyed it!

Amari Watergate Bangkok is located in the heart of the vibrant Pratunam neighbourhood in downtown Prtchburi, well known for its bustling landscape of shopping bazaars and lifestyle malls. The Platinum Fashion Wholesale Mall is located right opposite the hotel and Central World is within a few mins walk away.

Upon entering the hotel, you will be greeted by the warm earthy tones with streams of lights cascading from the lighting sculpture. Featuring 847 pieces of handcrafted Murano glass which signify the hotels street address 847 Petchburi Road. Inspired by the hotel’s location and the significance of water to the city and Thai culture, this installation is titled “Water of Life”, ressembling the falling rain.
