One of broadway’s favourite is back and set to enthrall the crowd with familiar tunes and catchy dance moves.
I was invited to the gala premiere of the musical where I was awed by the splendid performance – everything was perfect, from the backdrop, familiar tunes, live band, to the catchy dance moves.
One of the highlight was the finale, where almost everyone stood up and danced without inhibition to the popular tunes of MAMMA MIA!
MAMMA MIA! is Judy Craymer’s ingenious vision of staging the story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs with an enchanting tale of family and friendship unfolding on a Greek island paradise. The story is about a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father, which brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago, on her wedding eve.
