SINGAPORE – Sofitel Singapore City Centre has put an unusual spin to the regular high tea at 1864 Lobby Lounge in collaboration with Tiger, an international premium beer brand born in 1932 in the streets of Singapore. Available from now until 31 August 2022, the Tiger Crystal High Tea is not just perfect for any beer aficionados, but also everyone else who is keen to explore something new.
In an indulgent twist on the classic British tradition, sweet and savoury bites typical of the mid-day treat have been swapped out with a selection of Tiger Crystal beer-infused nibbles. Brewed at a temperature of -1°C, the Tiger Crystal is refreshing and less bitter which makes it absolutely suited to the persistently warm weather in Singapore.
Highlights on the savoury line-up include Tobiko Crab Salad with Citron Beer Gelée, and Prawn with Beer-infused Melon, while the repertoire of show-stopping sweets feature Beer Orange Caramel Brioche, and Beeramisu. The teatime tradition is completed with barista-style coffee prepared to the guest’s preference and 18 blends of TWG teas, including the hotel’s exclusive Singapour Je T’aime tea blend which is an aromatic concoction of green tea with an elegant bouquet of lavender and rose. Guests have the option of adding on two bottles of Tiger Crystal beer at SGD20.
