Did you know that you can get rid of motion sickness with the use of an anti-nausea band? Hock Cheong Automec, a local brand, has launched the NBANTM, a waterproof and fashionable anti-nausea band that can help to alleviate all that unwanted nauseous feeling – be it on the commute or on your holiday.
I still remember one terrible experience I had during a trip to Macau. As our flight arrived in Hong Kong, we had to transit to a ferry service from the airport to Macau. The whole journey took about an hour plus and the bumpy ride made me want to throw up. I’ve never had an issue with motion sickness, but I was quite surprised that I experienced that on this particular journey to Macau. Only if I get to know about NBAN and had one with me, I wouldn’t have to go through this terrible experience.
So what causes motion sickness?
Motion sickness occurs when people experience an incongruence of visual perception and what their body is feeling. One good example is what happened to me on my ferry ride. Although I was seated in the ship, feeling the motion of the ship against the waves, my eyes were suggesting that was seated in a cabin instead. This then caused symptoms of motion sickness such as dizziness, fatigue, and nausea.
So how does an Anti-Nausea Band work?
An anti-nausea band helps to get rid of nausea via an acupressure point known as Pericardium 6 (P6) which is located near the wrist. All you need to do is to locate this P-6 acupressure point, which is 3 fingers width down from your wrist, between your 2 large tendons. Then, strap on the anti-nausea band with the knob resting on the P-6 acupressure point. Do make sure that it’s comfortable and firm pressure is exerted on the P-6 acupressure point.
What’s so special about NBANTM Anti-Nausea Band?
As opposed to traditional motion sickness bands, you will only need to strap one to your wrist rather than a pair. Beside nausea and motion sickness, NBANTM Anti-Nausea Band can also help to improve your quality of sleep and relieve acid reflux after a meal.
Being light and portable, I am sure the NBANTM Anti-Nausea Band will come in handy for me or even my travel partners on our future trips!
NBANTM Anti-Nausea Band is now available for sale at Hock Cheong main office (17 Kim Chuan Terrace) online at http://www.NBAN-Band.com.
