SINGAPORE – Shangri-La Singapore has expanded its takeaway and delivery menu with a delectable selection of signature dishes for an indulgent sharing feast at home. Additions to the gastronomic repertoire include an international weekend brunch set from The Line, a set menu of oriental creations from Shang Palace, hearty meats and seafood specialties from Origin Grill, as well as a Japanese afternoon tea set from NAMI.

Indulge in a gastronomic journey of epic proportions on weekends as an impressive spread of international brunch specialties tempts and excites gourmands of all ages. The International Weekend Brunch (SGD198 for four persons) begins with a selection of appetisers including a Seafood Platter, a Charcuterie Board, and a Cheese Platter. For mains, savour decadent delights from the land and the sea such as Grilled Rainbow Trout with Wild Seaweed Salad, Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek, and Chilli Snow Crab with Deep-fried Golden Buns.

Capping off the meal is a finale of desserts including Strawberry Shortcake and Chocolate Truffle. Building on the culinary experience, guest can choose to top up for a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne (SGD80) which comes with two of the maison’s acrylic Champagne glasses or a bottle of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Champagne (SGD290) which comes with two of the maison’s signature yellow stem Champagne glasses.

Experience the artistry of fine Cantonese cuisine with an epicurean Six-course Set Menu (SGD168 for four persons) showcasing an array of the restaurant’s signature dishes that are reminiscent of a family gathering and feelings of togetherness. Masterfully crafted to suit all palates, guests can look forward to iconic dishes such as Shang Palace’s Assorted Barbecued Delights, Sautéed Dace Fish Paste, Prawns and Garden Greens with Preserved Olives and Tangerine Peel, as well as Fried Rice with Assorted Meat Wrapped in Lotus Leaf.

Relish a fine selection of meat and seafood dishes grilled to smoky perfection. Directly sourced from sustainable farms worldwide, the quality cuts are prepared using a less-is-more cooking philosophy that allows the natural flavours of the ingredients to shine through. Gourmands can delight in the Meat Lovers’ Platter (SGD168 for three persons), which features three different cuts of beef from three different cattle; Rangers Valley Black Market 100% Pure Black Angus Striploin Grain-fed 300 Days MS 5+, Prime Black Angus Ribeye Corn-fed 120 Days MS 3/4, and Westholme Wagyu Petite Tender MS 4/5; or the Surf and Turf Platter (SGD198 for five persons) which comes with Grilled Jumbo Tiger Prawns and Charred Octopus in addition to the decadent beef selection. The platters are served with Champ Potato, Sautéed Broccoli and Brussel Sprouts, and guests have
the option to complete the meal with a bottle of house-crafted Origin Chocolate Negroni, 500ml (SGD35) or four bottles of Origin Lager (SGD20).

Inspired by the beauty of gardens in full bloom that mark the arrival of summer in Japan, the Japanese Afternoon Tea Set (SGD78 for two persons) is a unique twist on Shangri-La’s time-honoured afternoon tea tradition. Elegantly presented in a three-tier takeaway stand, the afternoon tea set features a selection of tantalising morsels highlighting the flavours of nature’s bounty. Savoury items in the line-up include Chiba Prefecture Sweet Corn with Japanese Egg Spinach Sandwich, Tokyo Style Sea Eel Pressed Sushi with Kinome, and Kagoshima Fish Cake with Hokkaido Cheese Sandwich, Karashi Mustard and Seaweed, while the list of sweet treats include Miyazaki Mango Tartlet, Ume Plum with Azuki Monaka, as well as Shizuoka Prefecture Yuzu Macaron. In addition to these gastronomic gems, guests have the option to elevate their experience with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut Champagne (SGD78) or Nyetimber Classic Cuvée (SGD98).
