Commemorate Singapore’s outstanding achievements throughout the years and join us in celebrating the nation’s 51st birthday in style with special culinary treats at award-winning Edge and Hai Tien Lo. On 29 to 31 July 2016 and 5 to 9 August 2016, Edge prepares a National Day Heritage Dinner Buffet, while from 6 to 9 August 2016, Hai Tien Lo commemorates the occasion with a National Day Celebratory Set Menu of oriental delicacies.

Edge presents a National Day Heritage Dinner Buffet featuring local favourites and classic dishes with a contemporary touch including Nyonya Laksa with Quail Egg, Buah Keluak Fried Rice, Traditional Satay, Wagyu Beef Rendang and a la minute Wok-fried Lala with Black Bean Sauce.

Executive Chef Lai Tong Ping unveils a specially crafted set menu of oriental delights, including premium Classic Whole Abalone with Sea Perch Fillet in Abalone Sauce, Braised Broccoli with Crabmeat and Pan-Fried Scallops, and Combination Appetiser Platter of Sliced Barbecued Beijing Duck and Crispy Prawns with Salted Egg. Available from 6 to 9 August 2016 during lunch and dinner, the seven-course set menu is priced at SGD128 per diner.

Hai Tien Lo’s popular Dim Sum Brunch Buffet is also available on 6, 7 and 9 August 2016. Featuring an extensive variety of handcrafted dim sum and signature items, the well-loved a la carte buffet includes Chef’s specialties of Braised Scallops with Crabmeat and Mushrooms, Deep-fried Crispy Cod with Sesame Seeds served with Mayonnaise, Chilled Boston Lobster with Fresh Fruit Salad, Stir-fried Pork Ribs with Draft Beer and Honey Sauce and more.
