March is the month to celebrate women. There are many ways to show your appreciation to the strong women in your life – it could be through an act of kindness, a message of gratitude, or sending gifts!

In the business of gifting, flowers have always been a staple. In a busy country like Singapore, beautiful flowers will not be enough to satisfy the market. The trinity of convenience combined with amazing service and great products was always something that was missing in Singapore’s flower market.

Flower Chimp is a pioneer in offering a convenient, high-quality, fast, and easy to use online flower delivery service in Southeast Asia. Having started its operations in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, they have expanded rapidly setting up in 4 other countries namely Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Across all countries, they have managed to establish partnerships with over 100 florists.

While only being present in Singapore for less than 2 years, Flower Chimp has successfully achieved a growth of 5-fold by offering beautifully crafted flower designs, free same day delivery nationwide, and a wide selection of categories. In addition to this, Flower Chimp studied the market and has broadened its selection by offering a category of hand bouquets below SGD 40 to cater to those on a budget. “Singaporeans are used to spending more than $60 for a bouquet and more, especially on major celebrations such as Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day” says Flower Chimp’s COO, Niklas Frassa based on a research conducted by their team of business analysts. However, “we strive to make flower deliveries affordable to everyone, working on a new assortment with designs for as little as $29, including nationwide delivery”.

Along with Flower Chimp’s tremendous growth, the local florists of Singapore have also benefited greatly from the partnership that Flower Chimp has built with these flower shops. Together with the company, their partners have scaled from a home-based florist into a full-fledged flower shop to manage the increasing volume of orders. Working hand in hand together, Flower Chimp strives to become Singapore’s preferred online florist that help create memorable moments of love.

For International Women’s Day, Flower Chimp will be offering a series of discounts throughout the month of March from 8%, 18%, and SGD 8 off on selected dates so every woman in Singapore will feel loved and appreciated.
