Casio Singapore is opening Singapore’s first travel-themed timepiece pop-up store at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 Departure Hall from 2 March to 5 April 2015. The store will be offering an exquisite range of G-SHOCK, OCEANUS and EDIFICE timepieces, all equipped with Casio’s one-of-a-kind ‘Global Time Sync’ hybrid timekeeping system, and an exciting in-store interactive game where travellers stand to win a Casio timepiece each week.
Timepieces Specially Suited for Today’s Globetrotters
The store boldly showcases three of Casio’s latest timepieces – G-SHOCK Gravitymaster GPW-1000, OCEANUS OCW-G1000 and EDIFICE EQB-500.
The GPW-1000 and OCW-G1000 feature Casio’s hybrid GPS Waveceptor function, combining Global Positioning System (GPS) and radiowave time-calibration signals from six stations worldwide, providing frequent flyers with time keeping accuracy even with changes in time zone or daylight savings, while the EQB-500 uses Bluetooth® SMART technology[1] to synchronize time information via smartphone[2] for wearers to see the hands adjust within seconds to display accurate time no matter where in the world. The dynamic EQB-500 also alerts wearers to incoming email notifications, keeping them well-connected to home at all times.
While shopping in the departure hall, travellers can play with an interactive screen at the pop-up store to browse the different timepieces and discover their features best suited for their travel needs.
Win a Casio Timepiece Every Week
Exclusive to the pop-up store, travellers can stand to win a Casio timepiece by participating in the in-store ‘Fastest Fingers First’ game on the interactive screen. The top scorer from each week, between 2 March and 5 April 2015, can look forward to their prize delivered right to their doorstep. All participants who have had a go at the game will receive a Casio Global Time Sync designed plastic folder to keep all their travel documents tucked away neatly.
Location and Opening Hours
The pop-up store is located at Changi Airport Terminal 1 Departure Hall, Central Piazza (beside Social Tree), and will be open from 6am to 12am daily from 2 March to 5 April 2015.
