The sixth edition of Singapore’s biggest year-end event, Christmas Wonderland, officially opened its doors to visitors on 29 Nov 2019, and will be welcoming visitors from now until 26 December. Here are 10 things that you can do and experience this Christmas at Gardens by the Bay!

1. Luminarie Light Sculptures

Be dazzled by majestic luminarie light sculptures, including a stunning 21-metre tall Spalliera inspired by the iconic towers of San Gimignano in Tuscany, Italy, as well as Asia’s tallest luminarie Christmas tree.

2. Santa’s Workshop

Magical journey to the North Pole awaits at the all new Santa’s Workshop. Walk through the forest and ‘snow’-filled giant snow globe before witnessing elves hard at work wrapping presents and fulfilling the wishes on their list. Be sure to take a photo with Santa before he heads out to deliver presents all around the world!

Monday – Thursday: 5pm to 11pm *
Friday – Sunday: 4pm to 11pm *

* Santa will be at the workshop from 5:30pm – 10:30pm (Monday – Thursday) and 4:30pm (Friday – Sunday)
* Last admission: 10.30pm

3. Blizzard Time presented by Häagen-Dazs

Grab your cameras and get ready for some picture perfect moments as you experience the wonders of ‘snow’ against a stunning backdrop of luminarie light sculptures and the Supertrees daily in the heart of Gardens by the Bay.

  • 6.30PM – 6.35PM
  • 7.55PM – 8.00PM

4. Carnival Games and Rides

Tons of fun for everyone with 18 traditional carnival games and rides including a Mini Viking, Bumper Cars and a brand new Swing Chair Carousel. What’s more, visitors can hop on the Christmas Train to soak in the sights and sounds of the festive season.

5. Christmas Parade

For the first time, look out for a parade of colourful festive floats as your favourite Christmas characters dance to familiar holiday tunes. Happening on every Fridays to Sundays at 8pm. (Excluding 30 Nov, Sunday)

6. Garden Rhapsody – The Christmas Special

Immerse yourself in this season of giving with a musical treat – The Christmas Special! Soak in the holiday cheer with this jolly edition featuring Supertree lights dancing to favourite Christmas classics and highlights sung by local artists, Andrew Marko and Ethel Yap. Happening daily at 7:45pm and 8:45pm.

7. Festive Entertainment

Soak in the festive vibes with intimate performances by some of Singapore’s homegrown talents under the twinkling lights of the Cassa Armonica, nestled in the middle of the Spalliera. Refer to the website for the full programme rundown.

8. Poinsettia Wishes Floral Display

Over in the Flower Dome, a whimsical journey through the Nordic region awaits visitors. This year, Gardens by the Bay’s Poinsettia Wishes floral display adds a Christmas twist to iconic landmarks in the Nordic countries, with creative direction by the Ambassador of Denmark to Singapore, Her Excellency Dorte Bech Vizard. Poinsettia Wishes floral display ends on 5 Jan 2020. From 29 Nov – 25 Dec, visitors can purchase the Christmas Bundle which includes admission to Flower Dome and Christmas Wonderland, and enjoy great savings!
