吃喝玩乐在台湾 Taiwan Trip with BBFs : Day 2 (Long Shan Temple 龙山寺, Monga filming site 艋舺拍摄场景/剥皮寮, Shilin Night Market 士林夜市)

Despite going to bed in the morning at 5am from our KTV session the previous night, we managed to wake up quite early! haha 😀

What a Sunny Day to start with! the weather was extremely HOT!!!

wee.. saw S.H.E on the bus 😀

that’s the train station that is just beside our hotel 🙂 damm near~~~

the first stop of the day will be Long Shang Temple 龙山寺… it’s one famous temple in taipei.. lots of artists went there too! We’ll be taking the train 捷运 there, so we’ll need to purchase our tickets for the ride!

the train is very similar to the ours in singapore.. colour also very similar, but i loved theirs as its cyan in colour!　：Ｄ

Arrived ~!

the first thing we did was to look for a place to have our brunch… very very hungry…

the famous 85 degrees C cafe that sell very nice cakes and pastries…

and we stopped by this stall for brunch…

set meal which consist of 豆干 tua kwa, 卤蛋 lu dan, 竹荀 bamboo shoots and 鲁肉饭 lu rou fan..

overall not that bad.. the soup is nice.. but i still prefer the lu rou fan that we ate yesterday in xi men ding…

and we bought a few souvenirs over there back for our friends and relatives… 🙂

after we’re done with long shan temple 龙山寺, we proceeded over to

bao pi liao 剥皮寮, the monga 艋舺 filming area..

also known as

wan hua qu 万华区,

something like the chinatown in singapore, where you’ll be able to see the streets, the shops, the stuff they used during the olden days… very interesting heritage area to visit when you are there.. 🙂

and here we are! arrived!! you can walk from long shan temple 龙山寺 to this place. ard 10 mins walk 🙂

and i started selling noodles there…!

After we’re done with bao pi liao, we took a train over to the East Metro mall (东区地下街) located underground at 忠孝敦化 station as it’s still early to head to the night market… this is the place where all the ladies will go gaga about! as there’s alot of shoes for them to buy.. and all are dirt cheap.. 2 pairs for NT399! which is ard $8 for a pair of shoes!

haha. no pics for the mall as i totally forgot to snap pics! resting at the benches provided while waiting for the ladies to finish their shoes shopping…

after they are done, we proceed on to take a the mrt down to jian tan 剑潭 station where shi lin night market 士林夜市 is located!
