Slash, swipe and duck to the beat this March with CapitaLand’s Beat Saber Cup! Singapore’s gaming enthusiasts are now one step closer to channeling their inner intergalactic warrior, and being among the first in Asia to play Beat Saber, a unique virtual reality (VR) rhythm game, prior to its regional launch on the PlayStation 4. Bringing this exclusive experience to Singapore is CapitaLand, which will be hosting Singapore’s largest VR gaming tournament featuring Beat Saber across 14 participating malls from 1 to 31 March 2019.
Beat Saber is best described as an amalgamation of elements from Tap Tap Revenge, Dance Dance Revolution, and Fruit Ninja. The exciting rhythm game comes complete with an immersive experience via sound and visual effects. Gameplay is simple – slash the beats as they come, with the correct coloured saber in the direction of the arrow and chalk up the combos! Currently available in the United States, the highly anticipated VR game is expected to roll out across Asia on the PlayStation 4 in the later part of this year.
