The second fun-filled edition of Monti’s Festino series is finally here, and this time, Monti will be offering diners an Italian interpretation of old school local Singaporean delicacies. Singapura Festino will take place in the lead up to National Day, from Saturday, 5 to Tuesday, 8 August 2017, 3pm to 11pm, and all food, cocktails and wines will be uniformly priced at $10 nett each.
Monti will be transformed to house food stalls similar to the local hawker stalls, and will offer guests local
delicacies such as Iberico Pork Satay, Crackling Pork Belly with Sambal Lychee, Chili Crab Kueh Pie Tee with Ikura & Corriander, Chicken Rice Arancini with Chicken Floss & House Made Chili Sauce, Beef Rendang Sliders, Popcorn Chicken with Salted Egg Yolk Sauce, Laksa Risotto with Coconut Powder, Rojak Burrito with Sweet Sauce & Toasted Peanuts, and finally, Durian Puff and Gula Melaka Panna Cotta as the dessert options.
Additionally, Red, White, Rose and Moscato wines from Italy and France, along with a series of cocktails with
the local touch, will also be on offer to guests. Cocktails include Dino Rock (Milo powder, bourbon, Baileys, Milo infused syrup, milk), Bando (rose infused evaporated milk, Baileys, Spiced Rum, rose water bitters, rose syrup), Kopi-O- La (local coffee, vodka, crème de cacao Brown, chocolate bitters).
