Bare Your Sole, Habitat for Humanity Singapore’s annual barefoot walkathon, is back once again to raise funds and awareness for the less fortunate in Singapore who struggle with poverty on a daily basis. This year’s edition is set to take place at OCBC Square on September 10th, at 7:30am. Registration is now open for this one of a kind event for the family.
Funds raised from the 2.5km and 5km charity walkathon will go towards Project HomeWorks, a local initiative that aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly, the sick and people with disabilities living in poor conditions across the island. This year marks the celebration of the programme’s 10th anniversary, which commemorates the heartfelt support and achievements of the community.
Aside from the walkathon, Bare Your Sole 2016 will feature a host of fun activities for the whole family while learning more about the work that Habitat for Humanity Singapore does, both locally and abroad.
