Hotel Review: Stay In with Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa

As travelling is still not possible for now, the next best thing to do is to go on a staycation. There are actually many hotels available in Singapore that you can choose from, but if you want to get away from the city and into the nature, check out the staycation packages available at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa!

We did a 2D1N staycation during the Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), and here’s what you can expect during your stay here!

Getting There

Getting to the resort is easy, as there is a complimentary shuttle bus from Harbourfront MRT station Exit D. This shuttle service runs on a 30 mins interval, and brings you directly to the resort.

Check-In

Prior to your stay, you will receive an online form sent to your email. You will need to fill in your particulars, as well as your arrival time, dining options, and pool time booking. This helps with your check-in process when you arrive at the resort. Since we’ve submitted our preferences via the form, our check-in process was a quick and smooth one.

The suite comes with two 47-inch LED SMART TV, each in the bedroom and living room. Extremely soft and comfortable King-size bed awaits you in the bedroom, which gave us a restful night during our stay. There is also a pillow menu that you can choose from too! The standard coffee and tea making facilities are available as well. The bathroom comes with a separate shower and bathtub, with single-use bathroom amenities that you can use during your stay.

Not to worry if you forget to place your order as the concierge will remind you through a phone call.

From Asian delights to pizzas and prosciutto, you will definitely be spoilt for choices with the dining options available.

Amenities

Suite guest will be able to enjoy the spa facilities at the Sofitel SPA. Some of the facilities includes an indoor Jacuzzi and cold pool, as well as two outdoor pools. As the spa is located away from the main building, shuttle service are available at the hotel lobby. You may give a call to the spa before heading down, just to ensure that they are not running at full capacity, due to social distancing measures.

For all hotel guests, you will still have access to the main pool. Booking of pool time is required, and each guest will have a 2 hour slot per day during your stay. Unfortunately, during our stay, the gym is closed due to the Phase 2 (Heightened Alert).

Top-Up Option

Beach Picnics with Sofitel Sentosa

There are a few top-up options that you can choose to elevate your experience during your stay. Unfortunately, during our stay, the sky was bit gloomy. We didn’t managed to venture out to the beach for the sunset views at Tanjong Beach. We have our picnic in the room instead. Price starts from $118+ for two and comes with a bottle of house wine.

French Classic High Tea

Indulge in delicate pastisserie and savouries to share with family. Each set comes with smoked salmon, baggels, wild blueberry financiers and strawberry pistachio cake. Order one and have it in room during your stay, or bring one home upon checking out from the resort. Price at $58 for 2 and comes with Coffee/Tea. Top-up $36 for 2 cocktails or $88 for a bottle of Taittinger.
