Mandarin Gallery is taking a grown-up approach to Christmas this year, with unique experiences to tease and delight shoppers. Themed around Flirting with Christmas, Mandarin Gallery will see Santa appear in a brand new light along with a musical experience in partnership with the public piano movement, Play It Forward Singapore.
Instead of the conventional Father Christmas in red and white, Mandarin Gallery’s Santa will instead look like a runway model, complete with a decidedly fashionable wardrobe. Santa – along with his elves – will put in appearances every weekend at Mandarin Gallery, and shoppers who post photos of themselves together with Santa on Instagram with the hashtags #MGFlirt or #MGNaughtyOrNice will stand a chance to win 12 x $100 worth of shopping vouchers. In the spirit of giving, Mandarin Gallery Gift It Forward to four lucky shopper a mystery Christmas gift* (worth SG$1,000 each) every weekend in December as well**.
A unique collaboration with Play It Forward Singapore will also see Mandarin Gallery decked out with Instagram-worthy pre-loved pianos for all to enjoy. From an ivory white piano with life-sized angel wings to a piano dripping with rainbow paint, shoppers will be able to not only take photos with these artistic pieces, but also play and share their favourite tunes with an open audience.
Starting this week from every Friday and Saturday till 17th December 2016, the public can enjoy music performances along Mandarin Gallery’s facade by well-established pianists together with their talented songbirds. Expect to see performances from Joel Nah, veteran music director and musician for musicals such as The Lion King and Wicked, as well as award-winning local acapella band, MICapella.
Flirting with Christmas will take place from 18th November to 26th December at Mandarin Gallery. For more information on Flirting with Christmas campaign and shopping promotions visit Mandarin Gallery’s website athttp://mandaringallery.com.sg/
