Fans of hit reality show, Oh! My Baby, were treated to a day filled with lots of fun and laughter, thanks to the heart-warming interactions between Ricky Kim and his two children, Tae Rin, 5, and Tae Oh, 3, during the meet-and-greet session at the “ONE Family Day Out with Ricky Kim & Kids” event held on 7 May 2016.
Proudly organised by ONE, the #1 Korean entertainment channel in Singapore, the hour-long meet-and-greet session drew over 3,500 excited fans and curious shoppers to Waterway Point, the official mall of the event. Ardent fans had even arrived as early as 7.30am to secure a good spot to see their favourite ‘TaeTae Family’.
Holding shy Tae Rin’s hand in one hand and adorable Tae Oh’s with the other, the Korean-American actor and father Ricky Kim greeted fans with a dazzling smile. Fans could not help but shout ‘Saranghaeyo!’(‘I love you’ in Korean) as they saw little Tae Oh and Tae Rin, who were in high spirits and waving happily to the enthusiastic crowd.
The two children were showered with plenty of love and affection from their adoring fans – many had brought along stuffed toys and chocolates as gifts for the children. Delighted with their presents, Tae Rin and Tae Oh melted the hearts of fans as they exclaimed “I love you!” and “Thank you!” to the crowd.
Much to the delight of their fans, Ricky Kim and his children also spent some quality time together at several attractions in Singapore. From appreciating the beautiful greenery and flora to soaking in some rays in their bathers, the trio had a wonderful time exploring the Garden City. The exclusive shorts of Ricky Kim and his children’s visit to Singapore are expected to air later in May on ONE.
Fans who missed the event can catch Ricky Kim and family on Oh! My Baby, which airs within a week of Korea’s telecast, every Thursday at 11pm on ONE.
