Loved and enjoy playing sports? Loved leading a healthy lifestyle? How about taking part in the annual Community Games this year and spend a great time doing your favourite sports and to meet new friends as well?!
The Community Games 2013 (CG 2013) is a multi-sports competition held across the island, bringing the Games to the heart of the community and connecting residents of different ages, races and living across estates, organised by the People’s Association and Community Sports Clubs.
There’s a total of 10 different type of sports for you to register and take part in. They are…
Badminton
Basketball
Bowling
Football
Dragon Boat, Netball, Road Run, Swimming and lastly Sepaktakraw!
The Community Games 2013 will be taking place from March to June at various facilities across Singapore and Registration begins now for Badminton, Basketball, Football, Bowling and Dragon Boat. Registration for Netball, Sepaktakraw, Table Tennis, Road Run & Relay and Swimming will only be open from 4th March 2013.
This is a great time for you to make new friends and to bond together with each other as the main objective of the Community Games 2013 is to use community sports as a Channel to bridge and bond residents of different Ages, Races and Estates (CARE). In general, a team must consist of members of different ages, races and living in different estates to participate in the Games 🙂
