Revisit the culinary grandeur of Peranakan and English traditions with quintessential delights from Atrium’s two new afternoon tea menus. A nod to Singapore’s rich history, the new Peranakan and English Afternoon Tea menus highlight the traditional and classic tea treats passed down by generations.
The Peranakan Afternoon Tea Menu will let you have a taste of the legendary Peranakan cooking skills with traditional favourites such as Nyonya Kueh Pie Tee, Traditional Penang Popiah and Apam Balik, a moist and fluffy pancake with peanut fillings. Our chef’s rich and aromatic homemade Traditional Nyonya Chicken Curry will have you relishing the tasty gravy with an airy yet crisp French Baguette. Take a trip down memory lane reliving childhood snacks such as Rainbow Kueh, a colourful nine-layered cake, Kueh Seri Muka, double-layered steamed glutinous rice topped with pandan custard and Dried Shrimp with Coconut Pulut Panggang, a lightly grilled glutinous rice roll wrapped with fragrant shrimp filling.
The English Afternoon Tea Menu, presented in an elegant three-tier stand, offers an array of delicate patisserie that is perfect for an indulgent gathering. Entice your taste buds with savoury creations such as Charcoal Bun with Smoked Salmon, Beetroot Bun with Crab Meat and Avocado or the classic Dark Raisin Scones with dollops of fresh clotted cream and jam. Refresh your palate with the tangy Lemon Meringue Tart or indulge in the dainty Almond Florentine Tuile, Caramel Croquembouche and assorted macarons over a glass of Laurent-Perrier champagne.
