foodpanda Singapore, the leading food delivery service, has announced its first ever ‘Rooftop Revelry’ festival that will fuse food, fashion and art to celebrate Singapore’s vibrant culture and exciting food scene.
Taking place on Saturday 24 th September at Lepark (the rooftop of The People’s Park Complex) from 5pm – 9pm, the ‘Rooftop Revelry’ festival will feature a stellar cast of local ‘hawker’ and ‘hipster’ food offerings and pop-up cocktail bars such as Keith Crackling Roast, Oppa Chicken, Chicken Up, MEATLiquor, Shiberty Bakes and many more alongside nifty craft stalls for guests to ‘make or buy’.
Accompanying the food element of the festival, will be a bazaar filled with quirky, independent pop-up stores ranging from clothing to art and crafts such as Endllxly, Craft Assembly, By Invite Only, Goddess GG and many more.
‘Rooftop Revelry’ festival will also feature entertainment from live local bands, with Desperado and Redbull amplifying excitement on the industrial open rooftop space.
As part of the festival, there will also be contemporary panda art display by young creative talent. The artworks are a result of a nationwide art competition which invited aspiring designers to recreate foodpanda’s iconic mascot. Taking inspiration from Asian street art, popular culture and international inspirations, the shortlisted designs will be exhibited during the event at Lepark and later auctioned – with the proceeds going to the WWF.
Located in the heart of Chinatown, the entry for the one-day festival will be free for those who register at: https://www.facebook.com/foodpandaRooftopRevelryFestival
