Casio Singapore has announced the release of the G-SHOCK MRG-G1000RT in Singapore, the newest and most exquisite collection in its premium range of G-SHOCK timepieces. With only 100 pieces produced worldwide, specially crafted at Casio’s prestigious Yamagata Premium Production Line in Japan, the MRG-G1000RT is the rarest G-SHOCK in the world.
Standing valiantly at the pinnacle of G-SHOCK timepieces, it incorporates advanced technology and precise craftsmanship, embodying ultimate toughness in a body so impeccably and immaculately carved.
Inspired by the Art of Japanese Sword Making
The MRG-G1000RT boldly incorporates the ‘Nie’ design on its bezel, a pattern made famous by traditional Japanese swords, and framed with stylish black and gold accents. ‘Nie’ is a distinguished characteristic of Japanese swords that represents the superior detail and quality of Japanese craftsmanship. The design gives the bezel and metal plate a rich and polished finish that reflects tastefully when it catches the light.
Made of a recrystallized Ti64 alloy, a material seven times more durable than pure Titanium, the bezel and metal plate make the MRG-G1000RT truly indestructible. It is also encased in a sturdy and resilient ‘Japan Blue’ Diamond-like carbon coating that radiates in varying hues under different lighting and angles. The mature blue hue of the timepiece is daringly contrasted with gold bolts and index markers on the watch face which pays homage to the craft of traditional Japanese metal engraving.
