Froyo seems to be getting really popular and well-liked here by the locals and there are many more such froyo stores seen around lately. To he honest, I’ve not try any one of them, not even the one that requires to queue for more than an hour.
However, I’m glad to have a chance to try NOOKIE, the new froyo in town, located at POMO. NOOKIE Yogurt is the latest venture from Montana Brew Bar (which i will be sharing about it in another post), which offers a range of unique and interesting froyo (frozen yogurt) creations. Here’s three of the froyo creations that I tried during my visit!
Green Tea Black Sesame ($6.90)
If you are a fan of matcha, green tea, then i’m sure you will like this. Personally, I like it it taste even better with the generous black sesame crumble topping. yums!
Red Velvet Parfait ($6.90)
Red Velvet is another well like desserts and they’ve improvised it into the froyo! This red velvet froyo comes with chunks of red velvet cake crumble, topped with chocolate fudge sauce. Although i know most of the people love it but both my friend and I feel that it can be better improved. Probably they can have red velvet brownies instead? As we find that the everything seems to melt and mixed together upon putting it into your mouth. It lack that extra crunch that we are looking for.
Mango Sticky Rice ($6.90)
If you can order pick one out of all the selection they have, go for the Mango Sticky Rice. Inspired by the well-known Thai dessert, they included mochi balls as a replacement of the sticky rice and gastronomy spheres which burst in your mouth with each bite. I would say it’s a super EXCITING dessert to have! this got to be our favourite Froyo creation~!
