鼎泰丰Ding Tai Fung, where everyone go for their infamous Xiao Long Bao, originated from Taiwan and since i’m there, and upon hearing from friends on how good it is in taiwan, we decided to try it there!
The outlet we visited is located at Tien Mu SOGO and initially i thought it wouldn’t be crowded since its a weekend morning at 11am, but was surprise that the queue is super long lor!

Here’s what we’ve ordered…
Cabbage which i don’t think we have it here in singapore… though it looks really bland but it’s actually quite flavourful 🙂
Spinach which i love!!!
The all time favourite pork chop fried rice..
This sesame noodle does not come with any extra ingredients or side dishes. It’s just the sesame sauce and the noodle, and guess what, it taste SOOOO GOOD!
and the main highlight… XIAO LONG BAO!!!! OMG~~
Personally i think the xiao long bao over there is more juicy.. and the skin is softer as well, but the one in singapore also not that bad lah. 🙂
So if you are travelling in taiwan, do try the food at DING TAI FUNG over there and see if it’s better than the one we have here in singapore 🙂 but be prepared to queue…
