Not long ago, my friends decided to bring me out for dinner as I was kinda down and they brought me to this restaurant hidden in a corner at the newly opened Orchardgateway, Supply & Demand.
From what my friend to me, it’s not easy to get a seat there as it’s always full and you need to make reservations online. If not, be prepared to queue up to more than an hour for a seat. We’re lucky as we didn’t wait for long, approx 20 mins on that day, though my friend made a booking online and only to know that he booked the wrong date LOL!
Without the intro by Mr C, I might not know about this gem hidden in the neighbourhood of Kovan. Located at Simon Road, just a few mins walk away from Kovan MRT station, Lola’s Cafe served decent food with mains not more than $20.
Few weeks ago, i wanted to bring my bbfs for makan at the cajun king but it was fully booked that night. So we switched over to Wimbly Lu but still fully occupied.. we move down and finally settled down for some pasta at Rokeby which is located along Jalan Riang as well.
It wasn’t very crowded like the other 2 when we enter but it got really crowded when we left. looks like the crowd came in slightly later for them.
So.. what’s for dinner? let’s take a look at the menu…
Was randomly looking for a place to have our late dinner after swim and initially we wanted to visit a nice little cafe but too bad it’s closing in 30 mins time and we didn’t want to rush our food so we decided to change another venue. While walking back to the car, we noticed this “coffee shop” whereby there are Caucasian drinking wine, beer, eating pizza and pasta. That caught my attention and out of curiosity, we went to have a look and to realize that it’s actually a restaurant in a “coffee shop” setting.
Celebrated one of my bbfs, Waimeng birthday at Café Crema, a nice cosy cafe located at Gardens by the bay. It’s not that difficult to locate as it’s along the taxi stand and within a min walking distance from the ticketing counter.

The cafe over here sells mainly pasta and sandwiches. So be it lazing around on a afternoon in the cafe with a cup of coffee, or having a proper meal for your dinner, this will probably be one of the best choice for you when you are at Gardens by the bay.
Fine dining is way more cheaper nowadays especially with all these awesome vouchers provided by DEAL.com.sg!Now you can enjoy great food, in a great atmosphere, with great companion just like what i did with my best buddies in the army. With such cool deals, i’ve decided to give both of them a treat after our first ICT to as a reward for ourselves 😉
We visited this italian restaurant, Spizzico Ristorante Italiano located at UE square. Do remember to make a reservation before heading down as it might get pretty crowded at dinner time.
