A casual, cosy cafe serving great artisan coffee with fresh food ranging from all-day breakfast to pastas and even more. Tolido’s Espresso Nook Café strongly believe in their food and drinks to be made with the love, passion and attention it deserves. All individually prepared and nothing instant. No frills, no pretense.

Located along Crawford Lane, Tolido’s Espresso Nook, a Melbourne-inspired joint first opened at Singapore Science Center and is now located just right next to a provision store underneath the HDB estates. If wouldn’t be hard to miss it with the huge black and white bamboo shade.

Cosy & Homely Decor

Situated in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, Tolido’s gives a cosy vibe to the the overall ambience in the cafe. The wooden tables compliment well with the metal chairs and the comfy sofas and dim warm lightings creates a homely decor which makes you want to spend an afternoon in the cafe, slowing down pace and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Great Coffee & Latte Art

Well known for their great coffee & latte art from Douglas Tan, head barista and owner of Tolido’s Espresso Nook Cafe, we order a cup of latte and the latte art was quite nicely done.

All-Day Breakfast

As all-day breakfast is served here such as your all-time favourites pancakes, eggs, toast, waffles and pastries, we ordered the BT Triple Egg Omelette ($12) with pork bacon and tomato wrapped in a 3-egg omelette, served with farmer’s bread and side salad for brunch.

We also ordered the Prawn Laksa Pasta ($17), one of the chef’s recommended mains on the menu. I’m glad that we didn’t miss it taste so good! Filled with succulent prawns and rich laksa gravy, we really enjoyed it!.

Dessert with a Local Twist

We end off our brunch with Pandan Pancakes ($11), which was made a permanent dessert in the menu by popular demand when it was launched to celebrate SG50. Fragrant pandan pancakes topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with Gula Melaka sauce. So good!
