Toby’s Estate opened its doors to Asia in October 2011 with the launch of its flagship Café and Roastery here in Singapore at Rodyk Street, overlooking the historic Singapore River in the picturesque area of Robertson Quay.
Specialising in coffee roasters, the story of how Toby’s Estate start was quite interesting. It started off with a coffee plantations of Brazil, Guatemala and Colombia, where founder, Toby Smith, which explains the name of the café, learnt to grow, roast and cup coffee at the source. You can read more about his story on the website.
You will be able to find a wide variety of speciality coffee beans, from local blends to many Single Origin coffees from all over the world right here at the Rodyk Street outlet. You can also grab some teas as well as coffee equipment here too.
During one of our staycation at Studio M, as we missed the breakfast at the hotel, we went for a morning stroll along Robertson Quay and arrived here for brunch.
We ordered the Brekkie of Champion, $25 which we totally agree with its name as this breakfast dish was filled with sausages, eggs, baked beans, mushrooms and salad. Love the cherry tomatoes as it was fresh and sweet!
The Eggs Benedict Brooklyn style, $19 comes with two larged poached eggs on a thick slice of brioche with smoked salmon. Definitely a high protein breakfast.
And to complete your visit, you have to try out their coffee, which is what they are famous and good with! A combination of good coffee, food and riverside dining atmosphere, this maybe one of the best brunch places that you can go to over the weekend.
