Mid-Autumn Festival is closing in fast, and if you’re still sorting out your mooncake shopping list, I’ve rounded up four collections I’ve been keeping an eye on this year — from a Cantonese hotel restaurant staple to a couple of newer names leaning hard into flavour experimentation. Here’s what stood out at each.
1. Golden Peony, Conrad Singapore Marina Bay

Golden Peony’s 2026 collection, Curated for the Season, Treasured Beyond, is presented in a new swivel keepsake box this year — the design unfolds to reveal the mooncakes within, which is a nice touch if you’re gifting rather than keeping the box yourself.
On the baked side, the Da Hong Pao with Chia Seeds infuses oolong tea into silky lotus paste with a bit of crunch, while the Pandan “Fei Cui” with Melon Seeds brings back the signature jade-hued pandan paste. Classic Single and Double Yolk with White Lotus Paste round things out, with two-piece boxes from $54 and four-piece boxes from $95.

The snowskin range is where I’d point first-time buyers, though — Strawberry with Champagne Truffle and Matcha with Sakura Truffle are new this year, joining Chocolate Royal Hazelnut Crunch, Ondeh Ondeh with Gula Melaka Truffle, and the ever-popular Mao Shan Wang Durian Snowskin. Mini snowskin boxes start from $56 for four pieces, and the Mao Shan Wang runs $60 for two pieces or $108 for four. Don’t sleep on the handmade Sweet Potato Filo Puff either — it’s back with a new Bird’s Nest option this year, from $56.

The collection is available until 25 September 2026, with up to 30% savings running across the range during the festive promotion period. Self-collection is from the Mooncake Booth at the hotel lobby, and islandwide delivery is $38 nett per location. Orders via the Golden Peony website, email sinci.festive@conradhotels.com, or call 6432 7486 / 6432 7489.
2. Wah Lok, Carlton Hotel Singapore

Wah Lok’s 2026 theme, “The Warmth of Handcrafted Heritage,” is all about keeping production in-house — baked mooncakes come from the restaurant’s own kitchen under Executive Chef Su Man On, with the hotel’s pastry team handling snow skin.
The standout new flavour for me is the Tangerine Peel White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk ($98 for 4 pieces) — the citrus lift sounds like a good way to cut through the richness. On the snow skin side, the Mini Hong Kong Milk Tea Snow Skin and Mini Baileys Cheesecake Snow Skin (both $90 for 8 pieces) are new debuts, while the Mini Mao Shan Wang Durian Snow Skin ($98 for 8 pieces) remains one of their most popular picks. Classics like the White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk ($98 for 4 pieces) and the restaurant-exclusive Mini Walnut Moon Tart with Yolk ($95 for 8 pieces) are still around too, with low-sugar versions available for select flavours.

What I genuinely like this year is the packaging — it’s designed around the idea of a lantern, with a small light built in so the box can be repurposed once the mooncakes are gone.

A quick heads-up on timing: the best promo — 30% off all boxes regardless of quantity, for DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB, or Citibank cardholders — ran only until 10 September 2026, so that window has already closed. From 11 to 25 September, the promo shifts to a tiered structure: 25% off for 1–30 boxes, and 30% off only for 31 boxes or more. Collection runs at the Festive Booth until 25 September 2026, 11am–7pm daily, while delivery (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm) needs about 5 working days’ processing — orders of 60 boxes and above get free delivery to one location, otherwise it’s a flat $65 nett. Order online at celebrations.carltonhotel.sg, or call +65 6349 1292 for enquiries.
3. Man Fu Yuan, Frasers House

Man Fu Yuan’s 2026 collection, A Living House of Craftsmanship, leans into its Bugis neighbourhood with four brand-new snow skin flavours under the Nanyang Reverie series — each tied to a different pocket of the area. My pick to try would be the Nanyang Charcoal Coffee and Dark Chocolate Truffle, inspired by kopitiam culture, though the Emerald Chendol, Red Bean, Jackfruit and Gula Melaka Truffle sounds like the most fun dessert-stall mashup of the bunch. The set comes as 4 pieces (one of each flavour) at $102, housed in a heritage-inspired keepsake tin.

If you prefer tradition, the Low Sugar Baked Mooncake Series is all Halal-certified, with the White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Yolk ($98 for 4 pieces) as the bestseller. For something more elevated, the Grand Luxe Premium Mooncake Set ($158) unfolds across two tiers to reveal a teapot and teacup set alongside four baked mooncakes — a full tea ritual in a box rather than just a snack.

Discounts run right up to 25 September 2026: 25% off for credit card holders and Marriott Bonvoy members, or 20% off via the Man Fu Yuan Oddle site (15%/15%/10% respectively for the Grand Luxe set). Order online at frasershousefestivegoodies.oddle.me or manfuyuansg.com/mooncakes, or collect in person at the Frasers House Mooncake Booth (Level 1, Bugis Junction side entrance) until 25 September.
4. Xin Cuisine, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium

Xin Cuisine’s 2026 theme, “Never Just a Mooncake,” is built around packaging you’d actually want to keep — the Poet’s Dream Box is a blush-toned keepsake with a crystal-clear cover and a compartmentalised interior, designed to be repurposed as a jewellery or keepsake case afterward.

Two new mini snowskin flavours headline this year: the Orange Whiskey Mini Snowskin Mooncake, which pairs zesty orange with mellow whiskey for a more grown-up finish, and the Elderflower Apple Mini Snowskin Mooncake, a lighter, floral option. Both come in a box of 6 pieces at $84. There’s also a 1-for-1 promotion (while stocks last, in Blush Pink or Sandy Beige) featuring the Low Sugar White Lotus Seed Paste Baked Mooncake with Double Yolk and the Peranakan Durian Mini Snowskin Mooncake — worth checking availability before committing to a colourway.
Orders close on 21 September 2026, so there’s just over a week left on this one. Order online at singaporeatrium.holidayinn.com/eshop, or reach the team at +65 3138 2531 / WhatsApp +65 9114 0281 / xin.sinhi@ihg.com.
Which One Should You Get?
If you’re after something classic and reliable, Wah Lok and Man Fu Yuan’s low-sugar baked ranges are safe bets for family reunion dinners. For flavour experimentation, Man Fu Yuan’s Nanyang Reverie series and Xin Cuisine’s Orange Whiskey mini are the most adventurous picks this year. And if durian is non-negotiable, both Golden Peony and Wah Lok have a Mao Shan Wang snowskin option worth comparing.
Here’s a quick snapshot of when each window closes, so you can prioritise your orders:
| Restaurant | Order/Collection Deadline | Best Current Promo |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Peony (Conrad Singapore Marina Bay) | 25 September 2026 | Up to 30% off, festive period |
| Wah Lok (Carlton Hotel Singapore) | 25 September 2026 | 25% off (1–30 boxes) / 30% off (31+ boxes), 11–25 Sep |
| Man Fu Yuan (Frasers House) | 25 September 2026 | 25% off (card/Bonvoy) or 20% off (Oddle) |
| Xin Cuisine (Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium) | 21 September 2026 | 1-for-1, while stocks last |
With most windows closing around the same time, it’s worth getting your orders in over the next week or so rather than leaving it to the last minute.
