If you have not visited any of the 9 outlets in Singapore, maybe it is time to give Kraftwich by SwissBake a try. A brand-new concept by Swissbake which has been known for premium quality European bread and confectionery products. Kraftwich provides healthy salads, soups and pizza shaped sandwiches.

Sandwiches are usually lunchtime takeaways or breakfast quick fixes, Kraftwich aims to change the dinner crowd mindset with the introduction of two indulgence Kraftwiches. Crafted by Master Chef Asia Season 1 finalist Lennard Yeong, the experimental results are interesting sandwiches that will excite many palettes.

The roast beef Kraftwich is a combination of roast striploin, cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan cheese trio, mustard and caramelised onions. Served between Kraftwich’s multigrain bread slice the full flavoured Kraftwich is enhanced with a dipping sauce which is beef jus. We felt that the bread was a little hard and the dish would have benefitted from a softer bread.

Our favourite is the new oven-baked chicken Kraftwich with Thai green curry dip. The creamy and spicy Thai green curry elevated the taste of the Kraftwich. The oven-baked chicken thigh was tasty and well cooked, over this Thai fusion Kraftwich was a delight.

Both dishes are served with pickled vegetables on the side which cuts into the heavy meats nicely. Dinners can also complete the meal with a soup and drink set at an additional 5SGD.

If you are looking for deserts the outlets offer cakes, pastries and even udders ice cream! However with limited flavours but that is understandable given that it is not an ice cream shop.

Overall the new Kraftwiches make interesting options for dinner with the premium ingredients. The portions are large and provide for a hearty meal that will make all the sandwich lovers happy. The Indulgence Kraftwiches is now available on UberEats, and will subsequently be available on Food Panda, Deliveroo and Honest Bee starting 9 October 2017. They are also available at selected Kraftwich locations around Singapore.

What’s more, you can also take part in their Facebook Contest on KRAFTWICH Facebook Page where you stand a chance to win a special Guilty Pleasures Indulgence Pack comprising food and spa vouchers!

This was an invited tasting, though all opinions expressed are our own.
