Hotel Vagabond Singapore was voted as the #1 boutique hotel in Singapore on TripAdvisor. As one of the A Tribute Portfolio Hotel under the SPG, and now Marriott group, Hotel Vagabond is an art and expensive-driven luxury boutique hotel housed in a 1950s heritage Art Deco building. Co-founder by Harpreet Bedi and Satinder Garcha, this is the first hotel in Asia to be designed by the world-renowned French designer Jacques Garcia.
Located within walking distance from Lavender MRT station, this boutique hotel is also strategically located near historic and intoxicating streets such as Little India, Arab Street and Kampong Glam. Upon entering the hotel, the service staff greeted us with a warm smile and we felt that we were stepping into a museum instead!
There is a total of 41 well-equipped rooms and suites, all bathed in natural sunlight and luxuriate with Jacques Garcia’s signature Parisian-chic design. Every room is elegantly designed with a mix of colour and texture with plush fabrics against dark woods.
As an SPG Platinum Member, we got the privilege of upgrading our rooms as well as free breakfast, access to the executive lounge and 4:00 pm late check out. Our room was upgraded to a Courtyard Executive Club Room, with a shared outdoor courtyard.
The room comes with a king-sized bed with cult Rosewood mattress, complete with goose down pillows and comforters which provide us a good night rest during our stay here. There’s also a 42 inch LED TV with cable channels and free in-room movies and music.
Complimentary high-speed fiber optic WiFI is available for all hotel guests and you can also enjoy complimentary coffee from the in-room Nespresso coffee machine as well as a mini bar stocked with artisanal beverages and treats. Tourists will definitely enjoy the complimentary smartphone with unlimited local calls and data use too!

Breakfast was served at the lobby where the club lounge is located at. There isn’t an extensive spread of selection like your usual buffet breakfast, there’s breakfast menu for you to choose from. There’s also free flow of juices, fruits and yogurts too.
