Food Review – COCA Steamboat Delivery

We love steamboats as it bonds relationships, however, with the current state of things and restrictions on dining out, the best way out would be to order in your own steamboat. Now we had our fair share of meh steamboats however we discovered a really good one from Coca

Originating from Bangkok, COCA Restaurant first opened its doors in Singapore in 1987 and remains well-known amongst Singaporean diners as an established Thai-Chinese hotpot restaurant.

We ordered the COCA’s Hotpot Set A (serves 3 to 4 persons) priced at $82.

This set includes the following:

  • Complimentary Mala Fried Rice
  • Complimentary Mala Fish Skin
  • 2 soup bases
  • Thinly Sliced Pork Collar
  • Chicken Fillet
  • Prawns
  • Chicken Meat Paste
  • Shrimp Wanton
  • Fishball with Roe
  • Chinese Cabbage
  • Local Lettuce
  • Emperor Shiitake
  • Green Noodle
  • COCA Chilli Sauce

We love the Hua Diao Phoenix Pot 花雕火凤凰汤底 and Tantalizing Tom Yum 冬荫汤底 ! The Hua Diao Phoenix was a hearty soup with Chinese Hua Diao wine that gave it an additive layer of flavour on top of the rich umami already from the chicken. The Tom Yum on the other hand was well balanced with just the right amount of heat and sourness.

All the ingredients were really fresh and you could taste the quality of the meat. The highlight was the classic Thai style COCA Chilli Sauce which gave the meats a lovely zing.

Overall we felt it was value for money and very yummy with quality meats.

If this all sounds very enticing, order now on OddleEats! Enjoy 20% off self pick up orders or FREE delivery with a minimum spend of $100! Self-pick up available at all COCA outlets from 11am – 8pm. Islandwide delivery, available from 11.30 am – 8.30 pm daily!

This was an invited tasting, though all opinions expressed are our own.
