It’s the time of the year again! No, i’m not referring to CNY or Christmas, but my birthday! 😀 I had a great mini birthday party last year at W Singapore and this year, being a supporter of SPG, I held my birthday staycation at The St Regis Singapore 🙂
The St Regis Singapore is situated at the heart of the city’s premiere shopping district, Orchard Road and is within walking distance to the Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Singapore Botanic Gardens.

We’re given the Lady Astor Room where the room is divided into three sections. Upon entering the room, you will see the pantry cabinet where your minibar, glass wines and tea can be found.
Right behind the pantry area is the bathroom. Set in the luxurious French marble bathroom, get ready to pamper yourself with a soak in the majestic free-standing bathtub. A seperate jet massage shower with self-defogging mirror which is very cool and interesting, vanity mirror, dressing table and two generous basins for a rejuvenating bathing experience 🙂
and now let’s check out the room! The lavishly decorated room comes with two oversized single beds (as good as two queen size bed), wrapped in signature St. Regis linens which are smooth and comfy.
Seat yourself at a plush divan with Jim Thompson silk throw pillows, providing comfort as you take in the picturesque cityscape.
Rooms comes with complimentary high speed internet and access to Remède Spa’s wet lounge facilities.

The outdoor pool is an oasis of calm and repose away from the hustle and bustle of Orchard Road, with a serene sculpture by Taiwanese artist Li Chen to set a soothing backdrop for a tranquil ambiance.
You can choose to have your breakfast at either LaBrezza, a fine trattoria-style Italian cusine speciality restuarant located by the pool side, or at the Brasserie Les Saveurs located on lobby level. Both served about the same breakfast buffet spread but if you prefer to avoid the crowd, do go to the one at the poolside.
As we’re staying for two nights, we managed to try both on different days 🙂

Something unique about the St. Regis is the butler service, where every St. Regis guest will get to enjoy. We’re really happy with the service provided by our butler as we are holding a mini party in the room for my birthday, we seek the assistance of our butler to help us get the necessary items such as disposable cutleries, drinks, snacks etc by giving him a shopping list of what we want. About an hour later, they came back with everything we needed and nicely arranged on the table. Thumbs up to the excellent service!
Another butler, Alvin, was really nice to send over a box of St.Regis chocolates as he knew that I’m celebrating my birthday there. Thanks for taking that extra step to make my birthday special 🙂

My birthday party was separated into two different session. The first session was held at night where we focus mostly on food and alchol while the second session was held in the afternoon and focus more on finger food and normal drinks 😛
Once again, brown is ready to welcome the guests 😛
