This season, Chye Seng Huat Hardware presents a limited-time collaboration with Connor's Stout Porter, running from 27 August to 1 November 2026, that invites Singapore to rethink what stout can do beyond the pint glass. Rather than simply pairing beer with food, the partnership weaves Connor's directly into three exclusive creations, using its caramel, roasted and slightly bitter notes to enhance familiar dishes in unexpected ways.
Connor's Stout Porter is brewed with four premium ingredients — brown malt, caramel malt, lager malt and roasted barley — resulting in a balance of richness and bitterness, a creamy foam head, and distinctive coffee and caramel notes. It's this flavour profile that made Chye Seng Huat Hardware, known locally for its craft coffee culture, a natural fit for the collaboration. "A café may not be the first place people expect to encounter stout, and that is exactly why this partnership is exciting for Connor's," said Olga Pulyaeva, General Manager of Carlsberg Singapore, on bringing the brand into a setting not traditionally associated with it.
Three New Takes on Connor's
Developed by Christina Ee, Head Chef at Chye Seng Huat Hardware, each of the three limited-time dishes draws on Connor's flavour profile in a different way.
The Stout Stack (S$30++) takes a familiar comfort food and gives it a Connor's twist. Juicy wagyu beef is topped with slow-caramelised onions infused with Connor's Stout Porter, a sunny-side-up egg, fresh tomato and crisp lettuce, and served with fries. The wagyu's soft, buttery texture pairs with Connor's smooth profile, while the stout-infused onions are specially prepared to bring out its caramel malt character.
The Connor's Grill (S$12++) pairs smoky grilled chicken with a creamy Connor's stout-infused mayo, where the stout's gentle roasted, earthy bitterness cuts through the richness of the sauce — a dish designed to balance rather than overpower.
The Connor's Affogato (S$9.20++) reimagines the café classic with fresh espresso, vanilla ice cream and Connor's Stout Porter coming together in a smooth, boozy treat. The pairing leans on the caramel and chocolate notes shared by the stout and Chye Seng Huat Hardware's house coffee blend, with the vanilla ice cream tying the flavours together. As Christina Ee put it: "We did not want the stout to overpower the food or feel like an addition for the sake of it… The result is a menu that remains approachable, while allowing Connor's to come through differently in each creation."
Happy Hour and Complimentary Pours
From Monday to Friday, 6pm onwards, every main ordered at Chye Seng Huat Hardware comes with a complimentary half pint (250ml) of Connor's. If you're after a full pint, happy hour runs daily from 6pm to 9pm, with Connor's going for S$10++ (usual price S$15++).
Beyond the Menu: On-Site Experiences
The collaboration goes beyond the food and drink menu with a few playful activities worth knowing about before your visit:
Order two full pints of Connor's in a single receipt for a sure-win spin at the Connor's gachapon, with exclusive merchandise up for grabs. There's also a photo machine on-site for a complimentary printed photo strip, with stickers available as keepsakes. And for the more puzzle-inclined, completing the in-store word search and tagging @connorssingapore and @cshhcoffee on Instagram enters you into a weekly draw to win a carton of Connor's.

The collaboration isn't limited to the café. Connor's is available at retailers and e-commerce platforms islandwide, and throughout September, FairPrice shoppers can redeem an exclusive Connor's tote bag with a S$20 spend, or a Connor's T-shirt with a S$60 spend.
Carlsberg Singapore has also teased that Connor's will be teaming up with another Singapore café next, with details to be announced soon.
