Singapore based design studio, Lopelab, are constantly working towards inspiring Singaporeans to reimagine public spaces through the power of design. Lopelab has recently launched their latest series of events in Singapore called Urban Ventures, which was originally featured in collaboration with Singapore Design Week. Urban Ventures aims to bring together the local and visiting community in Singapore to gather and redefine public spaces while enjoying art and music at their leisure.
At the debut edition of Urban Ventures, Keong Saik Road was transformed into an immerse art space filled with interactive art installations, musical performances and creative workshops. In the evening, the closed off Keong Saik road evolved into a party with music, drinks and dancing.
In partnership with Singapore HeritageFest 2016, the 2nd Edition of Urban Ventures is set to take place on Saturday, April 30th, from 4:00-10:30 PM. The second installment of Urban Ventures will transform Keong Saik Road into an arts carnival with interactive installations, art performances and creative workshops, and more. In the evening, the street will morph again, becoming a hip street party with music, drinks and dancing!
Relax on hammocks in the middle of the road while jamming out to local young talent singing to the crowd, play a game of foosball with a new friend, or even participate in a creative workshop- Urban Ventures has something for everyone.
