Gude tatatama~ Gude tatatama~ Gude Gude Gude ta ma~~~
This is the song that kept looping and got me so addicted during my visit to the exhibition in Taipei last December and i must say that anyone would fell in love with this Japan’s shiftless, egg yolk-inspired cartoon character.
Cracking an egg into a bowl of lu rou fan? yummeh!
Having fun with the magazine cover photo booth 🙂
According to a research done locally, more than 50% of the working adults in Taiwan felt that they do not have a work life balance and 1/3 of them felt extremely tired and reluctant to arrange for any other social life. Gudetama is the best representative for these group of people on wanting a break, a holiday and more time for themselves.
In this exhibition, you can expect to learn more about how Gudetama lead its lazy life through interesting props and thematic settings. Here’s a pic taken at Gudetama living room.
You can also expect to see Gudetama appearing at a few hot spots in Taiwan as well, such as the Chinese Temple, Taipei 101 and the popular night markets!
Gudetama invaded Taiwan’s famous xiao long bao, Ding Tai Feng!
Anyone craving for some mango shaved ice?
Retro barber. Never go out of style with Gudetama! hahaha~
Traditional chinese medicine store
Bacon blanket anyone?
We had so much fun at the exhibition! So if you are a Gudetama fan and visiting Taiwan now, do not miss this exhibition as I’m sure you will love it! Here’s a short walkthrough of the exhibition.
