My all time favourite Chicken from Popeyes® is now in Orchard! woohoo~! was invited for its grand opening on wednesday for a sumptous dinner from popeye!
just in case you guys are wondering where is this place, it’s at Orchard Xchange, directly above Orchard mrt station. (you know in the past, there’s this populdar book store above the train station? that place lor~ )
we’re each served with 2 pcs of Popeyes® Bonafide® Chicken, fries(my fav as well), bread, drink, coleslaw and my FAV mash potato!
loved the drinks! the red one is the melon soda while the one in green (ops! i forgot about the name) BUT both are nice! ;D
we can actually order alot more from the counter as it’s FREE flow for us that day, but sad to say, both me and waimeng was freaking full after we finished everything that was served to us~ thought i would loved to the wonderful selection of delectable dishes from Popeyes signature Louisiana Cajun style cooking 😉 Never mind, i can still go back for more ! since it’s now conveniently located at orchard!

Oh and i learnt something new that night as well! if the chicken bones are black in color, it shoes that it’s frozen chicken. But if the bones are not black in color, it shows that it’s FRESH chicken! and that’s the policy of Popeyes® Chicken whereby it is prepared from chicken that is never frozen, marinated for at least 12 hours in our signature Louisiana seasonings before it is carefully prepared right before it is served!
