Pan Pacific Singapore and Goshen Art Gallery present National Day Celebration, a solo art exhibition featuring 30 abstract oil paintings by Singaporean retired teacher and renowned artist Tan Choo Kai.
Known for his interest in sceneries, Tan Choo Kai is an avid traveller who expresses his artistic interpretation of natural landscapes and scenery through the application of bold strokes coupled with vibrant yet harmonious colours. Fond of dabbling in photography to capture special moments, he uses his travel experiences as inspiration and breathes life into his paintings with his advanced colouring techniques.
A retired art teacher, Tan Choo Kai has been pursuing art for more than half a century and has earned wide recognition in the Singapore art scene. His artworks had been displayed in countries including Singapore, Japan and China.
In celebration of National Day, Goshen Art Gallery has pledged part of its sales proceeds to The Children’s Charities Association of Singapore to support developmentally impaired or underprivileged children. Visitors are welcome to experience the scenic works at this complimentary art exhibition.
National Day Celebration will be on showcase 11:00am to 8:00pm daily from 2 August to 31 October 2016 at the Public Art Space on Level 2 of Pan Pacific Singapore.
